Cordless Phone - Walk and Talk

Have you ever thought about your phone? I mean how it came into existence and how it works? I know many of us don't think about this. We simply use it and let it go. We all know that phone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell but what about its updated versions like cordless phone and mobile phones? Today I will tell you how cordless phone came into existence and what are the benefits of using cordless phone.

These sophisticated gadgets were first introduced in 1970. At that time, cordless phone was the newest addition in the family of already existing large range of phones. They are portable and can be carried anywhere, within a specific range, without any need of attaching wires. It provides ease of use with crystal clear sound quality. A cordless phone can be used while walking in the house or back yard, as it provides convenience of use.

During that time, large handset size and short battery life proved to be prejudicial to their popularity. However, a lot of innovation has taken place since then and as of now; the cordless phones are small, sleek, stylish as well as highly functional. With a long battery and crystal clear sound quality, many of the cordless phones that are currently available in the market are quite a good buy. One of the best innovations of the cordless phones is the introduction of multiple handsets. There is one base phone, and then up to four or five other handsets that can be set throughout the house. Now, there is no need for a phone plug in a room. Cordless phones are a wonderful addition to the comforts of today's society.
